Born in 1971 in Como, Trovato boasts long experience in the e-commerce sector, as well as in the banking and insurance sectors. He leads the development of Airbnb in an area that includes some of the most important destination markets in the world (Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey). Graduated in Political Economy from Bocconi University in Milan, he obtained an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. After an experience in consultancy at A.T. Kearney held the role of Commercial Director at Genworth Financial and Product Director at CheBanca! From 2012 to 2019 he was at Amazon Italy first as Category Leader Books, and then expanded his responsibilities to all Media products and, over the last 3 years, to the consumer electronics sector for Italy and Spain.
